Here are some paintings that I did a couple summers ago with a local artist. Note the colors of the paintings are slightly off, and I tried to match the colors of these images as close to the original paintings as much as possible.
My inspiration for this painting was simply my love for the ocean and the beach.
The Grasslands
Sometimes when I'm driving I see landscapes that make me think "hey that would make a great painting!" That is how I became inspired to paint this scene. I saw some tall grass and small trees blowing in the wind next to a factory, and thought that the "waves" the wind was making in the grass was beautiful. So this is my attempt to re-create that effect.
Gray's Arch
This piece comes from an image that I took while on vacation in Kentucky. This is a natural arch in the Daniel Boone National Park.
